Is Westbrook Out For Good?

Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook got his second concussion of the season yesterday, and the word is that he is likely out for the rest of the season and could be done as a pro, according to NFL.com.

Coach Any Reid called it a “heck of a hit.” Reid wouldn’t make any predictions on whether this was career-threatening to Westbrook “In these types of situations, football is secondary. We’ve got to look [out for] this kid and for his future and make sure everything’s OK for him before he gets back out there,” he said, according to the Philadelphia Daily News.

The Eagles may look into signing free agents Edgerrin James, Larry Johnson, and Warrick Dunn.
